Aloha All,
Quarantine mode for Vendola Café until further notice!
My son, who I had dinner with last night, tested positive for COVID this morning and is exhibiting symptoms. Though I tested negative 2 days ago and have no symptoms, I am invoking the Quarantine Protocol for UFOHQ. I’ll test again a few days from now.
In the meantime, please take note of the following from Brudda Joe Tato and the Elks.
We need your help with our largest fundraiser for our lodge. We need volunteer bartenders, beer pourers and ID checkers to work our in our beer booth at the Marin County Fair over the 4th of July weekend.
All volunteers working in the beer both must complete the Marin County Fairs Responsible Beverage Services class. The class is mandatory, no exceptions. This class is different from the RBS class required by the state to work at the lodge bar. Upon completing this two hour county training, you will be issued a badge with your photo which must be warn while working in the the beer booth at all times. There is no need to sign-up, just show up and attend one of the classes listed below.

Upon completion of your class please alert Greg Burnson or Joe Tato, so they can keep track of our volunteers as they complete the county requirement.
The Marin County Fair will occur over the following dates, June 30th-July 4th.
We will provide each volunteer a fair admission ticket to work their shift. Sorry parking is on your own, so please plan accordingly.
Please let us know which shift or shifts you would like to volunteer. If you feel brave and want to be in charge of the booth, please let us know if you’d like to be a shift leader.

Thank you for volunteering. Friends and family are okay to volunteer as long as they have completed the RBS class.
