Hard to believe but we’re suddenly in November. It’s cold and rainy today, but we are still warmed up by recalling Saturday’s CAYAK (ComeAsYouAren’tKanikapila) event.
I want to start by saying Mahalo Nui Aloha to all of you that attended our 2026 CAYAK.
It was so nice to see everyone as they Aren’t. We had not one but two Master Chefs, a scarecrow (complete with a brain), Mr. and Ms. Beelzebuba (a devilish couple), Da Kine Batman, the T-Rump Reaper, an (Im) Patient Melann (complete with measles and T-Rump Tats), Sonny and Cher (Chastity couldn’t make it), a Hippie Dippy Cat Lady, a wild and crazy Peasant from Chekovslavaskia (complete with arrow through the head), a Ghoul (with a friendly Soul), Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen, The Vendola Café Ski Patrol, Jake the Cat’s Mommy, and a Prisoner of Uke. A small but intimate group with everyone fully engaged in the spirit of Halloween.
