112623: No Vanikapila this Saturday

Aloha Ahi Ahi,

No Vanikapila this Saturday as we’ll be Kanikapila-ing at the Gnoss Airfield in the evening for their Annual Holiday Party. Come join us there instead. Click here for details.

While you’re checking out the events page, consider joining us this Thursday on the 30th at the Marin County Employee Craft Fair. Details here.

For those of you who will be joining us on the 30th and at our other Holiday Events, click here to download a PDF of our 2022 Winter Flight Manual. It has most if not all of the hulas we’ll be doing, along with our favs and holiday songs. For those of you without a tablet, I will be bringing a few hard copies. This should keep us covered for our 1 hour set, so no need to bring the BIG Book.

Mahalo nui, once again, to those joined us this past Saturday. Your Aloha warmed up the room and made us feel like we were in Hawai’i . . . well almost . . . well maybe if your squint your eyes . . . ok not quite . . . but at least it was warm and happy at Vendola Cafe.

Here are the photos to prove it.

I know, just some shameless advertising for Nohea. But if you click above you will find the photos.

Lois sends her Mahalos to all that sent their prayers and healing mana to her daughter. She’s doing better but not quite out of the woods. Please keep her and her ‘Ohana in your thoughts.

And so it begins . . . click above to watch Santa Hula.

mahina piha,
the Saint of Christmas hula,
As a palm tree sways.

Aloha a hui hou,

Starry, starry night . . . paint your paw-lettes blue and gray . . . meow out on a summer day . . .
