Aloha Ahi Ahi from O’ahu UFOhana,
I’m inbound from HNL this Wednesday which means we’re having our regularly Vanikapila this Saturday.
It’s been nice being with family and also quite nice to come home to one. Mahalo to all of you for your patience and support.
Click here to register for this Saturday.
We will probably be practicing a few songs from our County Fair Gig book. So bring them if you’re participating. Again please register ASAP if you will be participating this year. Mahalo to those that already have.
Click below to view my Tri-coder Readings from the away mission so far. I’ve taken quite a few images and videos, thanks in advance for taking the time to view them.

There’s a very long section in there of the King Kamehameha Parade, which yesterday was his actual birthday, or you can just stream the video recording on KHON Channel 2 stream here. Note to self, no recording parades next time . . .
I did manage to attend two and half Kanikapila while here. 1 at the Windward Shopping Maill, 1 at the Police Substation at Waikiki and 1 today, actually a gig at the Barefoot Beach Cafe, where Leonard from the Waikiki Kani was performing. I was able to play along, at a distance, with a few of their songs and recorded a few of the Hulas.

sunlight dance through trees,
a salty breeze fills the air,
laughter from the sea.
Until Saturday!
