Aloha UFOhana,
We’ll be playing (weather permitting) at the He’e Nalu opening Canoe season event this Saturday. You’re all welcome to attend. There will be a core UFOhana Band playing, you’re welcome to bring your Ukuleles as well. We’ll be playing from our UFO Gig Book (thinner, lighter, gentler one). Bring your music stands, appropriate weather gear, etc.
He’e Nalu will be serving Lunch at 11AM, but since it’s a fund raiser for their Canoe Club they will be charging. Click here to view their website for details. Hope to see you there and let’s hope for Sunny Skies.
I’ll try to stream this one for our Cyber Ohana, but no promises as it’s out by the San Rafael Harbor. Not sure what the signal’s like out there.
Speaking of Streaming (by the Harbor, in San Rafael) click below for images from last week. Mahalo Lynnette for encouraging the Keiki to join in. Btw, did you carry that case of books all by yourself?
I want to share the latest hair fashion from Maui, aka lauoho o ke kai or “hair of the sea”. Modeled by our very own Ken and Carolyn.
Looks almost delicious enough to eat . . . almost . . . he ho’oheno kē ‘ike aku . . .
And for those of you who don’t have them. I’ve created a PDF of all our Handouts thus far.

Awesome that you’re still working on the blessing of the canoes with He’e Nalu!!!
I hope that you are able to stream so I can enjoy from Georgetown, outside of Austin!
