Aloha UFOhana,
I hope you all had a great weekend. A little busy for those who attend both Saturday’s Vanikapila and the Porchfest. But we certainly had a lot of fun . . . I hope . . . and we got some rain today.
Starting with last Saturday’s Vanikapila.
And, of course, the 2022 Porchfest the following day.

Mahalo Nui Loa to the Hamiltons for hosting the UFOhana, to Carolyn (for connecting the UFOhana with the Porchfest and the Hamiltons), Jiboni and Nohea for great Tricorder Readings (i.e. photos/videos), to the PF 2022 Away Team for establishing base camp setup and tear down (that’s them below) and to all of you that participated and helped make these events possible.
As for the Livestream. It seems to have started off ok with Jeffery’s Cello performance, but, 2hrs later, when it came to our turn, the camera (my phone) seems to have over heated, wifi became intermittent, the lighting was bad, my foot slipped, the sun was in my eyes . . . I dropped the ball coach. For what it worth, at the very end of this recording we got a few minutes of our performance, though jittery. Fortunately, Nohea and Jiboni managed to record a bunch of our Hulas (see online album above).

I know it’s during one of our Vanikapila / Homecoming for Madison, but you should be able to drop off your instrument with them. Sort of a Drive By Stringing? Only in Marin right?

An interesting photo project from England (I know of at least three ‘Ohana members who hail from the area).

Before I close, I want to reach out the UFOhana and ask that you all include Carolyn Pendry in your prayers. She’s having some health issues and could certainly use the positive energy, Mana and Aloha from her ‘Ohana. Malama Pono Carolyn!
