BOT:

Aloha Everyone,

I have an event to attend this Saturday (yes another one) so our only Kanikapila this week is this Friday at the San Rafael Elks lodge. Click here to view our events calendar for details. Mahalo Nui to Joe and the other Elk-ders for hosting the UFOhana Ukulele Pilots this week and for creating a special Columbus Day menu for dinner.

Last week was a busy week for Kanikapilas. Click below for the Campbell Hall event. Mahalo once again to Reverend Chip for hosting us!

What’s with all the finge . .. rrrrrsaaaaahhhh! Gaaaary!

Then there was the early Saturday Kanikapila . . . mahalo all for accommodating my change of schedule.

Some sad news . . . we’ve lost one of our UFOhana Ukulele Pilots.

Curita Harris-Harper has passed on from an extended illness. Some of you may remember her from our Sleeping Lady Kanikapilas . . .

093019: October already? (UPDATE)

Aloha All,

An update on one of our events . . .

Please note that I had to change the time for our Saturday Kanikapila to 1pm-3pm to allow extra time for me to prep for my event that evening. Check here for event details.

Aloha UFOhana,

Yes, we’re in October already! Can you believe it, maybe I will make to to retirement after all. What an eventful, busy and fun September we had and October may end up being just as action packed.

We begin, as we usually do, this month by Kanikapila-ing at Fadda Chip’s Hale Pule (Church) and end the week at UFOHQ. Please note the change in time for this Saturday’s UFOHQ Kanikapila. We need to start a little earlier and end a little earlier due to an engagement I need to attend. Though we’re still getting our 2 hours of Kani in! Check here for details.

Btw, Mahayler Nu-wee Lowers to all that attended last week Friday Kanikapila, which turned into a Knee Slapping He Hawing (well ok, maybe not that bad) Western Songs Night in honor of Ken Burns’ Documentary on Country Western Music. Amazing how many Westerns we have in our collection! Below, photos of the CWMN . . .

Hey!?! Who took a bite out of Joe’s Birthday Cake????

The following Saturday we had to Hele On to the Shark-tober Fest in Crissy Field. Mahalo Nui Loa to all of you that attended this important event. David and Carol were very grateful to all you. As you’ll see by clicking the colage below the weather and the music was fabulous . . .

. . . oh when the shark bites . . . scarlet billows . . .
