031521: Vanikapila 12.21 – UPDATE

Aloha Everyone,

Urgent update…

Please send your Alohas and healing Mana to our ‘Ohana Member, Ralph. He’s at Marin General recovering from a heart attack.

He’s doing well but I’m he could sure use some good thoughts and energy his way. Put him in your prayers tonight. I just got off the phone with him and welcomed him to the Brotherhood of Broken Hearts (of which myself and other Kane members of the ‘Ohana belong to).

Malama Pono Ralph, get well soon!

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

I want to start by thanking all that made our 21st Anniversary Kanikapila so special and loads of fun. I’m sure it helped that many of your have already had your 2nd inoculation, but there’s no substitute for genuine Aloha, which you all brought and shared.

Mahalo Nui Loa to Pauline and Don (for setup), Dan (for the heaters), Susan (for the Ono-licious Tacos), Melann (for the Death by Chocolate cupcakes), Linda A (for the glow in the dark Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy, 21st sign), Nohea (for keeping it all together and for sticking it with me all these years), to the KULU Studio Band and to the rest of you that attended both virtually and in person. We certainly made a lot of Aloha that night!

Click below for images and videos from that night. It’s a shared album so please feel free to upload photos if you wish. Mahalo.

Fly me to the mooooooon . . .

Then we did it all again Saturday Morning.

The following is a Special Project that Madison’s been working on. I encourage you all to attend her (virtual seminar) if you can. Plus all of the proceeds go to a good cause.

On Tuesday, the 23rd of this month at 2:30, I’m giving a talk about consent at the Shine Conference. It’s the final blowout for a public speaking course I’ve been taking for the past 7 weeks. My talk is titled “Yes, No, Maybe So- Clarifying consent for future generations”
If you have some time and feel like showing up that would be super cool. I’m real excited. Tickets to the event do cost $15 dollars, but they are donating it all to an organization called Raven, a registered charity with a mission to raise funds for Indigenous People’s access to justice.
The link to sign up can be found here: https://linktr.ee/WeWillBeGirls
This conference is going on that whole week so your ticket will get you access to, seriously, 94 other talks. They are just 10 minutes long.
No pressure, but I thought I’d share ❤
If you have room to throw this on the blog too, that would be awesome! I’m very excited and very nervous. It’ll be a vulnerable 10 minutes for me.
I’ve also attached their fun promotion edit of me (oh my gosh, I have hair in the picture!!)

Mahalo nui loa,
Madison Sneath

I’ll be attending, hope you will too!

And finally this week’s upcoming Vanikapila #12.21.
