Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,
I hope your New Year is off to a good start.
Mahalo to those of you that joined in last week for our 1st Vanikapila of 2021, even though it’s virtual, we can feel your Aloha and mana flying through cyberspace at the speed of UFOhana!
Last week I mentioned broadcasting from studio K’ULU on FM Radio for those that want to join in “locally.”
You know, like here, but in the safety of your automobile parked right next door to UFOHQ in that big empty parking lot. I guess you could call it a “HoloHoloKa’a-nikapila” or maybe “Drive-In Kanikapila?”
Anyway, I was thinking that it would be another way to get connected just a little bit closer and for those that want an excuse to “get out and (safely) about” or if you are experiencing just general “cabin fever.” You can wave to each other from your cars, or honk, or flash your hi-beams, or just strummmmmm!
I tested it tonight using an old FM radio I found, I was actually able to walk out to the parking lot and heard Ku’u Home Kahalu’u over the air waves. Kind of mystical to be in the middle of the dark parking lot to hear Olomana and Jerry Santos . . . I remember days when we were wiser . . .
We’ll be broadcasting on 88.7 on your FM dial, as well as on our regular Live Stream Vanikapila (see the link way down at the bottom).
Btw, Pauline, Sandy found your missing Christmas Ornament!

So, some of you were wondering where we put all our Christmas Decorations at the end of the year. Click below to view the amazing bottomless tool shed!
Of course we couldn’t leave the house bare. So Nohea works her magic, click below.
And finally the link to this Saturday’s Vanikapila 2.21:
come together but apart,
joined by our mele.
Right then, onward into the year!
Aloha A Hui Hou,
