022121: Vankapila 9.21

Aloha UFOhana,

Spring weather is upon us, though I believe it’s a little early. Even though it’s cheerfully sunny, it does bring issues for those of us with allergies and I know we could use a little rain as well.

It’s always something . . .

Anyway, we did have a great Vanikapila last week. Though our OK-er Video Camera did had some issues . . . it’s always something.

We did manage to have a great time and the OKers braved the Sunny but cold winds.

Mahalo Nui Loa to Pauline, Don, John and Marty for helping with setup and tear down and for being such good sports and to our Vanikapila participants who kept us company last week.

Below, the link to this Saturday’s Vanikapila #9.21.

Below from Ralph, a fantastic video of a Filipino singer, singing both parts (Celine’s and Andrea’s) of the song “The Prayer” in the Got Talent competition. Mahalo to Ralph for sharing this one!

Lastly, from Sandy, for those of you interested in the riff for Spanish Harlem, a PDF with the Tabs. Mahalo Sandy!

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

Hope you all had a great day celebrating our Presidents, well maybe most of them . . . and had a Happiest of Valentines Day as well.

Big Mahalos to all the OK-ers and Vanikapila-ers that attended last week and made a beautiful, sunny, breezing day so much more funner. Mahalo to Don, Pauline and the OK roadies for setting up and putting the UFOhana Landing Port back into order and Mahalo to the Studio KULU musicians for making all the happy mele!

We’re hoping for sunny weather this Saturday, if you’ll be joining us for the Outdoor Kanikapila text me at 415-300-7804 to RSVP a spot. Otherwise you can you join us virtually in cyberspace below.

Except for a short glitch we had a pretty good connection last week. Let’s all hope the Internet Gods smile upon us this Saturday as well.
