Thankfully, we made it through last week’s Vanikapila with no “major” issues. Mahalo to all of you that attended in cyberspace and IRL (In Real Life) and shared your Aloha with your UFOhana. Not to mention with your patience during the previous week’s audio outage.

On June 5th, we will holding a Saturday Evening BBQ.

As a result we will be moving/streaming our June 5th Vanikapila at a later time, details are as follows . . .

UFOhana BBQ:

Date: June 5th, Saturday
Where: Vendola Cafe (backyard), Down by the port in San Rafael.

Schedule:
4pm – 6pm Vanikapila

6pm – 9ish BBQ!

During which we can play/eat/play/eat/play oh and Hula/play/eat/play some more/ etc . . .

Menu: BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Baked Beans, Potato Salad.

BYOBeverage! Vendola Cafe will provide plates, utensils, etc.

YOU MUST BE 2X VAXED TO ATTEND.

PLEASE RSVP ASAP by this Thursday.

May 6th we were asked to provide entertainment to the Vaxers at the HHS Kerner POD. Sort of a Tropical Thursday Event. Click below to view images from the event. Mahalo to Toni for setting it up for us.

That following Friday was our 2nd Friday Night at the Elks, but held on the 1st Friday because of my pending eye surgery. Click below to view the event.

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

Just wanted to get out quick post while I have two working eyes . . .

I found out what caused our Audio Outage last week. It was caused by two things, a security patch for my Anti-Virus and an OBS audio driver update. Because both were patched around the same time. The AV software didn’t recognize the new OBS audio driver, so it erred on the safe side and disabled all the Windows audio access rights/permissions in OBS. Once I whitelisted OBS (gave OBS the proper Windows rights) audio was once again enabled. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for this week’s Vanikapila (see below), 11am – 1pm, Saturday the 15th.

Though we couldn’t connect with our Cyber Ukulele Pilots in Vanikapila land we did have a squadron of Ukulele Pilots in the backyard . . .

Mahalo to the OKers that kept the Strums going, to Pauline, Don, John, Melann, Cindy and the others that helped with setup and breakdown of the UFOhana Air Strip.

I want to wish all our May Keiki a Hauoli La Hanau! I believe Ralph’s is up this Wednesday, one day just before Marion’s.

A couple of upcoming Events:

The first being a Sunday Kanikapila for all 2X Vaxers at Ralph’s Hale on May 23, 12pm – 3pm-ish, weather allowing. Please text me at 415-300-7804 if you will be attending.

The second event is another 2X Vaxers event. June 5, Mike has graciously offered to sponsor a BBQ (catered by one of his favorites) 6pm – 9pm here at Vendola Cafe. BYOBeverage, he will provide the BBQ.Please RSVP ASAP if you will be attending so he can give the caterers a head count. For you Vegetarians out there, you’re welcome to BYOFood and hang out with your ‘Ohana.

Remember that both events are for Double (2x) Vaxers only!
