BOT:
Happy Monday UFOhana,
I know it’s Monday, for those of us still part of the Work Force, we are “happily” dragging our way though the day.
But we did have a great and productive past week.
A group of us were invited to play at the Lions Club Luau this past Wednesday, who donated a generous sum to PIKOhana and provided a great dinner for the band.
Click below to view images from the event. Mahalo Ralph for the photos!

With their donation we are clear for sponsoring the transportation for Lynnette’s annual Keiki Kanikapila at Lynwood Elementary! Mahalo to those the Lions Away Team and to Melann for connecting us to the Lions and of course, to the Lions Club of Marin County.
For those of you curious, click here to view an album from this year’s Keiki Kanikapila. Lynnette has an Raffle at the event where she raffles off Ukuleles donated by PIKOhana, to her various classes. The Keiki are amazing, they clapped for every class mate that won an Ukulele. All this Aloha made possible by your donations.
Then Saturday we were at the Magic Flute for their annual fundraising String-A-Thon.
Click below to view the online album. Mahalo Jiboni for the photos, for your Hulas with the ‘Ohana and to all the UFOhana members that participated.
Tamara, our Magic Flute Host, was very pleased by the turn out of “re-stringers” and by our performance. Mahalo Nui to Lucas, of the Magic Flute, for providing Sound Support to the UFOhana.
I heard that they actually turned the volume “UP” as the people in line wanted to hear more of us?! ?! Another first I’m sure . . .

Which bring us back to our regular programming . . .
We are on Vanikapila #35 for the year, which just whizzing by, click here if you will be joining us IRL (In Real Life) or click below this Saturday if you’ll be joining us Virtually.
By the way, along with this week’s Vanikapila I’ve added two more upcoming events. Check out our Events Page.
There is one event I haven’t posted as I’m waiting for it to appear on their Events Page and that is the monthly Elks Dinner / Kanikapila. We are having it on the third Friday, 10/13, instead of the second due to scheduling conflicts.
Ok, pau kamaʻilio moʻolelo (done talk story) for now.
Aloha a hui hou,

The 3rd Friday in October is the 17th. Is that the date of the Elks event?
Yes, that is correct. But as I said, it’s not yet posted to their Events page.
How can I send you some photos from the magic flute?
Aloha Georgia,
Please feel free to upload them to our Event Album:
