Aloha UFOhana,

Hope this finds you all well on this hump day. We’re sliding down the backside of the week into an Elks Local Kine Kaukau (Hawaiian Style Dinner). Mahalo to Brudda Joe Tato for inviting once again to the Elks Lodge.

So last week I spoke about the PBS special on YouTube regarding Hawaii’s Influence on Modern Music. Very interesting and mind blowing.

Pay special attention to the person who “saved” the Royal Hawaiian Band after Hawai’i was annexed. I think we may be related . . . . at least in another time line / parallel universe?

In fact, the description of annexation is scarily similar to what’s happening in California today.

Here’s one for you “Just one more is Enough” Ukulele Collectors out there.

It’s a vintage Royal Hawaiian currently on consignment at Magic Flute. Just show them these photos if you’re interested, or ask for Mike Creamer. It still plays very well and despite it’s flaws, it has been well loved.

It’s a more deluxe model than the one I have hanging in Vendola Cafe.

ukEku

an ancient vessel,
a messenger from the past,
from a tree a uke.

In light of all that’s happening, please . . .

aloha kekahi i kekahi (Love Each Other).

Aloha a hui hou,
