101821: Vanikapila 43.21 – UPDATE

UFOHANA ALERT!

Because of uncertain weather conditions we will be moving this week’s Vanikapila indoors. Enter as usual via the side gate and through the sliding door. We will be configuring the patio as we normally did prior to COVID with the addition of ventilation fans and 4 air cleaners.

Again, this event is open only to those who are FULLY VACCINATED.

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

Is it just me or are we actually having a little rain “storm”? So nice to finally have come our way. We certainly need it and let’s hope for more, just not all at one time . . .

So this Saturday we’re bidding an Aloha A Hui Hou (Aloha until we meet again) to one of our UFOhana Keiki, Madison Sneath, who will be beginning her training with the USMC shortly there after.

As mentioned last week, we will be holding our regular 11a – 1pm Vanikapila as we usually do this Saturday (10/23/2021) and move into our Aloha A Hui Hou gathering from 1pm to 2pm-ish or whenever.

We’re asking that you bring something in the way of Finger Foods to share with your UFOhana and Madison and BYOB as well.

We are also asking that you wear your favorite Cami/Camouflage gear in honor of Madison. If you don’t have something we might be able to provide some kind of “temporary” Camo wear for you.

We’re not sure what the weather will be like so be prepared. The UFOCB (UFOhana Core Band) will be playing outdoors as well, on stage and immediately in front of.

Please be sure to text me at 415-300-7804 if you will be attending so we can setup the backyard space properly.

Also, I won’t be able to view the Live Chat, so please text Nohea (Linda) at 415-572-1175 for requests, comments, etc.

Mahalo Nui Loa to Pauline and the Flight Crew for setting up and tearing down the UFO Landing Strip last week!

So I know that we’ve all been feeling the affects of the Shipping/Supply issues lately.

Especially the fear of TP shortage once again, like this guy below . . .

But Nohea and I were at Costco yesterday and we can report that they don’t seem to be running low their TP supply . . . yet . . .

Ok, I think that’s it for this week. Be sure to let me know if you’ll be attending our Aloha A Hui Hou Party for Madison!
