121524: USPJPL Vanikapila Night

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

Another stormy, windy, wet, but fun weekend behind us and what fun it was! Check out the photos and videos below of the Fairfax Holiday Craft Fair event.

That’s headless Kurt, upper middle, wet Ralph in the center, Dave and dry Ralph lower left. Oh, and Santa Hannah?

Mahalo nui loa to all of you that braved the Winter Storm, some from as far away as Folsom, just to sit/stand/Hula /sing/strum on a green stage with a bunch of other dedicated Ukulele Pilots and Keikis (mahalo Lynnette!) just to bring some Holiday Cheer and Aloha to the town of Fairfax.

Nohea and I truley appreciate all the effort our UFOhana puts in to making our events so much fun!

So it’s onward to our UGPJPL Vanikapila this Saturday. If you haven’t already please register here if you’ll be joining us. Don’t forget to mention what Potluck you’ll be bringing as well. Mahalo.

I’m a little pooped from recovering the front yard from Friday’s storm. You can check out the Saturday Morning carnage below. During the strong winds/rains, we lost our Coconut Christmas tree, the metal shaft snapped at the base and you can see that some of the topiaries are scattered about . . . the horror . . . the horror . . .

. . . . and a few hours later, Vendola Cafe Holiday Lights are back on line.

And finally, the link to our USPJPL night . . . .

Aloha UFOhana,

A group of us were asked to perform at the Gnoss Airfield Community Assocation’s Holiday Party this past Saturday.

We came, we sang, we strummed, we danced and we shared our Aloha and Christmas Spirit. Of course, they responded in kind, shared their food, drink and made a generous donation to PIKOhana.

Mahalo nui loa to all the UFOhana Pilots that assisted with that away mission and made it such a success. Mahalo to Brudda Ken Emerson for lending us his talents and to our Host Ken Mercer for inviting the UFOhana and the generous donation.

Click collage below to view the Tricorder recordings . . .
