072225: Vanikapila 28.25

BOT (Beginning Of Transmission):

All Hailing Frequencies Open . . .

Attention all UFOhana Ukulele Pilots . . . Aloha!

Sorry, I’ve been watching the new episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and just couldn’t help.

Speaking of episodes, we just closed our Elks Dinner/Kanikapila and Vanikapila 27.25 episodes last week.

Mahalo to all of you that participated and to Lynnette for bringing the UFO Ensign Uke Pilots with her (aka keiki). Click images below for link to Tricorder Scans (aka online photo album).

Btw, our next schedule Elks Dinner is on 8.8.25. Details not yet posted on the Elks site, but date confirmed with Joe Tato.

And below, the link to this Saturday’s Vanikapila, click here to register if you’re coming to see us. Mahalo.

FREE TICKETS TO “MUSTANGS OF THE WEST”!

This is from Toni Golbus . . .

We have three tickets to hear a Country Western/Blue Grass group, Mustangs of the West, for this Friday night in Livermore and we can’t use them as we have another set of grandkids here. We would like to give them to anyone who might like to attend. It would be shame to have them go to waste.

Thanks, Toni and Mickey

If you’d like the tickets email her at antoinettebgolbus@mac.com , Mahalo Nui Toni for the generous offer.

Finally a thought from Don (slightly modified during the transport from Cyberland to Vendola Cafe).

071725: Vanikapila 27.25 REDUX-REDUX-REDUX

We’re back in the Elks Bar! They finished work on the floor today. No carpet. Just beautiful refinished wood.

I understand we have a new Bar Manager, Jack, be sure to to introduce yourselves, give him your Aloha and drink orders!

Mahalo to Fred and his Floor Crew.

The floor in the Elks bar is being refinished so we may end up in the Terrace. Cool weather is predicted so dress accordingly. I’m bringing my gloves!

Elks is this Friday not Saturday. Mahalo Terry for catching that one.

BOT:

Aloha kakahiaka UFOhana,

Hope you folks have survived the heat this weekend. We were fortunate to have very temperate weather on Saturday. It certainly appeared that way from the photos.

Mahalo to those of you who attended and to Susan Kessler and Joe Theisen for donating a music stand to the UFOhana.

Because you know how many music stands are enough . . . . right?

Speaking of having fun. Let’s not forget that we can start the weekend Kanikapila early at the San Rafael Elks this Friday. Click the image below for RSVP a Dinner (admission to the Kanikapila). Where else can you have a fabulous dinner and be part of the floor show?

No specific menu just yet but keep checking their website for updates.

And then we’re back to our Saturday Vanikapila.

Click here to register if you’ll be joining us IRL (InRealLife) or click below to join us in Cyberspace.
