We’re Kanikapila-ing at the UFO HQ this Friday, 7p-10p, BYOPotLuck (aka Ono Kau Kau), BYOGear (music stands), and of course BYAloha. Images below from last Friday’s Kanikapila. Then (oops) we did it again on Saturday  . . .

Speaking of Saturday, this Saturday we’ll be at the Sonoma Valley Woman’s Club for both the Luau Fundraiser Event (sorry, tickets all sold out) 12p – 1:30p and for our usual Kanikapila (open to the public) 2p – 4p.

Btw, next Saturday March 5th, we’ve been invited to play at Lokahi’s Canoe Club (of which Brudda Ted is a member) Canoe Blessing, Located at the Petaluma Marina: http://marinas.com/view/marina/1156_Petaluma_Marina_CA_United_States. Ceremonies start at 11am, we play from 12p –1p and rush on back to San Rafael for Kanikapila at UFO HQ, 2p-4p.  All who are interested are welcome to join in. Look for us near the Canoes somewhere . . . please drop me a line if you will be attending. Brudda Ted, you can play bass that day ya?

From Linda and Myself we’d like to thank Gary Appleman for repairing the UFO HQ back fence (below) this past week, which blew out during the previous week’s wind storm. I guess it was the dead Pine Tree that kept it from blowing over. Thanks to Gary it looks like nothing ever happened, Mahalo Nui Gary you’re the Bestest!

Another hella busy week. We’ll be meeting at the UFO HQ this Friday 7p-10p. BYOPotLuck (KauKau), BYOMusic Stands, BYAloha to share with your ‘Ohana!

Saturday Kanikapila will be held at the UFO HQ also, 2p –4p. Regular setup, no lunch, bring your own snacks and favorite beverage. Mahalo to all of you that participated in our Valentine’s Day Luncheon Last week. It was great fun and we hope to hold another Luncheon soon.

Joe Tato, State VP of the Elks, asks that I extend a big mahalo to the ‘Ohana for contributing Target and Safeway Gifts cards last week at their Valentines Day Dinner last week. I understand that they got about $1000 in gift cards this year. Just a little more than last.  Mahalo to you that participated for doing the UFOhana proud.

Reverend Chip wishes to thank all of you for sending your Aloha and good mana at this sad time. For those of you that wish to attend the services please send me a message here and I will forward you the information.
