112421: Hau‘oli Lā Ho‘omaika‘i

Aloha UFOhana,

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving and on behalf of Nohea, Jake and myself we give our Mahalo Nui Loa to all of you for your support and Aloha these past years. Especially during the last two.

We are truly blessed and thankful for being part of this wonderful UFOhana.

I want to share the following from NYTimes Magazine, which was shared with me by my hānai brother, Alan. Hoping it provides a little light, considering the difficult times our state, nation and world has been experiencing . . .

Have a great Holiday and time off everyone and don’t forget about this Saturday.

Aloha A Hui Hou!

112121: EOMIK Vani/Kanikapila 47.21

Aloha UFOhana,

Well, it’s that time of the month everyone. That’s right, it’s already the last Saturday of the Month. Which means we are having our monthly End Of The Month Indoor (not Outdoor because of weather) Kanikapila this Saturday.

As usual it’ll be held at 6:30pm to 9:pmish. BYPotluck, BYOMusicStand and BYOBeverage. I’ll be streaming the event as usual.

Please text me at 415-300-7804 if you will be attending this Saturday, so we can setup our space appropriately. If you are attending via Cyberspace and can’t get a hold of us via YouTube Chat, please text Nohea (Linda) at 415-572-1175. Mahalo.

As always, this is open only to fully vaxed UFOhana Members.

Below the link to this Saturday’s EOMIK.

I want share the Mahalo Cards from San Ramon Elementary school sent to PIKO. Thanks to your generous donations we were able to purchase, Ukuleles, Basses and extra Tuners for their school.

And speaking of our Keiki . . .

Please keep sending Madison your letters of encouragement while she’s in boot camp. As you might imagine, a military boot camp is now where like Girl or Boy Scouts training. In short, it’s both physically and mentally taxing. I’m sure she would be glad to hear from her UFOhana, especially during the Holidays. Maybe some of you vets might even send her some pointers you may have picked up during your Boot Camp Days?

Her boot camp address below:

Some of you may have heard that our very own Jiboni Gloistein was competing in the Miss Marin 2022 competition 11/21 . . .

Winners and Winners
We have our very own “Miss Congeniality”! Uh, wait a minute did I spell that right?

moving in silence,
creeping slowly on us all,
like a tide rising.

Aloha A Hui Hou Ka Kou,

Don’t forget to write to Sista Madison!
