SUMMARY:2024 County Fair Performance
DESCRIPTION:Aloha All\, \n\n\n\nIt’s that time of the year and once again we’ve been invited to perform at the Marin County Fair for the 10th year. The Free Performer tickets are limited so please register ASAP before they run out. \n\n\n\nHowever\, when we do run out of tickets\, you are more than welcome to join us\, you’ll just have to purchase your own ticket. \n\n\n\nPlease show up no later than 11:45am for the event. Because we are one of the larger groups we need the extra time for setup. \n\n\n\nWe’ll have the same stage layout as last year. Hula Space in front\, keikis and lead musicians behind and the Corps De Ukulele in rows behind. \n\n\n\nBelow an old map from the 2018 fair. It’ll give you an idea of the location of the Community Stage\, where we’ll be performing. It’s the Blue Rectangle in the Plaza area. We’ll congregate in the food court area as we always have. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBYOMusic Stand\, music clips and I will bring some printed Flight Manuals for those in need. Otherwise you can download the PDF here. To conserve stage space consider sharing a Flight Manual and a music stand with an Ukulele Co-Pilot. \n\n\n\nDress in Happy\, Bright\, Hawaiian Attire. Hula Dancers please wear “Appropriate Hula Attire”. \n\n\n\nRemember what Marion told us\, “Look up from your Flight Manual\, make eye contact and smile once in a while.” \n\n\n\nIt may be warm so keep hydrated and dress cool Hawaiian. \n\n\n\nLet get ready to St-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-umbl-l-l-l-l-l-le!!!!
