060116: We’re At UFO HQ This Friday and Saturday . . .

BOT:

Aloha All,

TGFSW (Thank God For Short Weeks)! Hope you all had a great Memorial Holiday. As you’ll see from the images below we had busy but fun time.

We’ll be at UFO HQ this Friday (7p-10p) and Saturday (2p-4p). Friday Kanikapila will be a potluck, as usual. We ask that this time around to bring more main dishes, dare we say maybe even healthier dishes, than sugar treats. As it turns out many of us are diabetic, which would explain all the left over desserts. Mahalo for helping keep us all healthy and strumming.

Speaking of strumming, we’ve been invited to perform in our 2nd Home Town, Fairfax, at the Fairfax Festival. Jack has slotted us to perform at 2:30p for 45 minutes, June 12th, Sunday at the Redwoods Stage (the outdoor one). So bring your Flight Manuals, Music Stands, water and maybe a hat?

This past Friday we were asked to participate at the Bayview Elementary Student Appreciation Day Fund Raiser. We were even treated to a hula from twins from Tonga. Click the image below to view the online album . . . btw . . . Happy Birthday Leslie!
