111720: Vanikapila Kanakolu kūmālua (#32)

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana Pilots!

Yup, it’s official. Fall has hit us and yes, we’re on our 8th Month of Vanikapila! As you can see above, from Kliban’s Cat, the Rain and Winds are upon us. Hang onto your Ukuleles everyone and brace for Winter Weather.

I hope you’ve all been keeping warm out there. I had a few friends who actually contracted the plain old flu (thankfully). Which I guess is better than catching COVID. Keep extra vigilant out there and don’t forget your Flu Shots!

Thanksgiving is on the horizon, I hope you all get to spend some quality (virtual) time with your loved ones. Soon to be followed by Christmas. Speaking of which, Nohea has created a limited number of Grinch Masks for you Dr. Seuss fans out there. Check them out below.

Below, the UFO Pilots who braved the slightly chilly Outdoor Kanikapila weather last week. Mahalo to Pilot Don for assisting with photo duties.

Below, the link to this Saturday’s Vanikapila. Be sure to RSVP at 415-300-7804 if you will be attending as an OKer this Saturday. If you can’t get on YouTube Chat and want to request a song, please text Nohea (Linda) at 415-572-1175. Mahalo.

By the way, we will be playing this Sunday 11/22, 4pm – 7pm (weather permitting) at the Elks Thanksgiving Dinner. To be held on the Magnolia Terrace. So purchase a Turkey Dinner, grab your Uke, bring your UFOhana Gig Book and come on down! Click here for details and to RSVP a dinner.

UKeKU

a circle of thought,
a palette of memories,
a painting of life.

Like everything living, Aloha needs TLC too . . .

Malama Pono,

-=SqL+Nohea+Jake=-

Keep on wearing it!
