102720: Vanikapila Iwakālua kūmāiwa (#29)

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi Kakou,

Here we are, another Socially Distanced Holiday coming up, along with our 1st ever “Strum As You Aren’t” Vanikapila, or for the the Outdoor Kanikapila-ers it would the 1st ever “Outdoor Come As You Aren’t.” Here’s hoping to a good, safe, turnout for this event. Don’t forget to send me photos, for of those of you who will be “Strumming As They Aren’t” (i.e. In Costume) to post on our SAYA Album for this year.

Remember, we’re moving this event to this Saturday, 10/31, 6:30pm to 8:30pm or, as they say in Military Time, 10.31.20 18:30 – 20:30 HRS.

Please text me at 415-300-7804 if you’ll be joining us Saturday Evening. Remember it may be cool, bring your books lights, BYOWB (Bring Your Warm Beverages) if you’d like and don’t forget your mask (the PPE Kind).

I was watching our LiveStream from last week and noticed that the video started off smooth and then became a little jerky. I’m thinking this might be because of the extra cameras I added. I made some adjustments in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and ran some tests. I’m thinking the video resolution may be too high. Funny thing is that the source video was perfectly smooth and the connection health was “Excellent” according to YouTube? Ah, the mysteries of the Internet and YouTube! Let’s hope it’ll be better this week. Fortunately the audio was not jerky, but that’s not saying much . . . I’m told . . . hmmmmm.

Any way, onward we strum . . . below, last week’s Vanikapila Images.
