082720: Vanikapila Iwakālua (#20)

BOT:

Alooooo – <cough> <cough> – ha!

It’s been a hella-smokey week, fire’s blazing everywhere and then there’s the heat! I hope all of you has been keeping well and using protection when venturing about. Please send your Alohas and good mana out to the survivors of the fires.

We’re on our 20th Vanikapila this week, which equals about 5 months of the “New Normal.” A temporary “Normal” I hope. Thankfully we’ve had the support of our Cyber Ukulele Pilots and our OK-ers help to keep us as sane as possible.

Below is the link to this Saturday’s Vanikapila.

Click above on Saturday to Jack In . . .

I’m sure many of you remember Madison’s beautiful tribute, Aloha Oe Not Good-bye, she wrote for Marion. Well she has thoughtfully provided us with the song sheet of her tribute to add our UFOhana Repertoire. Click here to download/view the PDF. Click below to view her performance.

Below, click the collage to view last week’s intrepid Outdoor Kanikapila-ers, braving the smoke and heat (or is it Rain, Sleet, or Snow?? . . . . Nah, those “guys” would never do that!) all in the name of keeping the Strum going! Mahalo to you all!

Text me at 415-300-7804 to RSVP a seat in the O.K. “Smoke Free Section” , weather permitting that is. Again, if you can’t get on YouTube chat to request a song, text Nohea @ 415-572-1175.

And for those of you interested in staying current with your PPE fashions check out Nohea’s new Halloween Line below. Orders being accepted now!

Also taking orders for Ukulele PPEs, limited supply so order now by Texting Nohea at 415-572-1175.

UKEKU

blood orange sunrise,
ashes fall like memories,
smudged dirty blue sky.

Mahalo Nui Loa to all of you who have donated so generously to PIKOhana in honor of Marion’s memory.

I will be sending out PIKOhana letters of donation to you all for this years tax season.

Malama Pono Kakou!

Aloha A Hui Hou,

-=SqL+Nohea+Jake=-

Okay, it’s not very PPE but you have to admit I look incredibly cool!
