BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi UFOhana,

Are we really on our fifth month of Vanikapilas? Hard to believe it’s gone this long.

I hope you’ve all been staying safe and healthy out there. I know it’s been a rough journey for us all, considering all that’s transpired in the last 5 months, but lets “keep on keepin’ ” on as the song goes.

Click below to access this Saturday’s Vanikapila which, btw, will be on “808” (Hawaii’s Area Code) Day! The stars they are aligning . . .

Click above this Saturday do connect to our 808 Vanikapila on YouTube.

Speaking of YouTube. Mahalo to all who participated the Life in Day event last week and to Wikio, Mahalo Nui Loa, for making it all possible. Thanks to all your timely submissions and Wikio’s hard work I was able to submit our piece a days before the deadline. I do have a copy, created just for the UFOhana, the Director’s Cut if you will, but I don’t want to release it just yet until I hear back from Ridley Scott and Crew.

Click below for online album of last week’s Vanikapila. Please text me at 415-300-7804 to RSVP a chair for this week’s OK (Outdoor Kanikapila). Mahalo to the OK Crew, Pauline, Don and Ralph for setting up last week!

I’d like to share the following with you from Marion’s family . . .

Mahalo nui to Craig for the beautiful photo of Marion. I believe she was dancing Na Makani Eha when the photo was taken. One of her favorite Hulas taught to her by Kumu Lynn Ka nani o ke anuenue Roth.

UkekU

pale moonlight dances,
graceful curves lit indigo,
night enters softly.

See you folks at the Vanikapila or the OK!
