Remembering Marion . . .

Aloha Kakou,

I was reminiscing through a few photos of Marion yesterday when it finally occurred to me that this is something I should share with her UFOhana (and beyond) . . .

Click below to view memories of Marion with our ‘Ohana over the past 9 years.

It’s a Google “Shared” album so you should be able to upload your own images, provided you have a Gmail account . . . I think. Please feel free to contribute. If you have issues, send me the image in an email to Kaleikoa@piko.ws and I will post it for you.

The photos (and videos) are from trips to Keoki’s Hawaiian Life Style and Ukulele Camp, Friday Night (and Saturday Day) Kanikapilas, Fundraisers for PIKOhana, Gigs and many other events she supported through her years with us. Through all that she found time to learn Ukulele, Hula, sing in Hawaiian, give me life/work advice, laugh at my bad jokes, and live Aloha.

A true hā.nai sister she was.

Me Ke Aloha Pumehana,

Del and Nohea

  1. I hope we will dedicate our Day in the Life video to Marion. Maybe wally could put her photo in the video?

  2. With a heavy heart I say aloha to such a beautiful person, beautiful soul – always so gracious even in the challenges of learning a difficult hula. Generous, kind, and graceful.
She will remain in my heart as a “hula sister” who shared the grace of aloha, though raised in raised in the opposite side of the globe,, thousands of miles from Hawaii.
May she rest in peace …. aloha oe, until we meet again.
    Lovingly,
    Charlotte
