121019: Tis the Season

BOT:

Pehea kou hauʻoli ka kou!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

It’s that time of the year once again. Tis the season for Holiday Ukulele!

What better way to start “The Season” than with a special luncheon at the Whistle Stop. Mahalo Charlotte and Sandy for the invite. See below.

Followed up by Kanikapila at the Campbell Hall.

Then onto the Fairfax Christmas Faire the following morning.

And ended our fun filled week of events at the Gnoss Field Community Association’s Christmas Party.

Nohea and I would like to say Mahalo Nui Loa to all that participated in the events and shared their Aloha, joy and spirit of the UFOhana. Especially to Amelia Earhart, Capt. Noonan and our former flight attendants who made a special appearance at Gnoss Airfield! Mahalo to our Sonoma ‘Ohana for making the trip out all the way out this way and to our Bass Commanders, Laura, Kimo and Sandy, that kept the heart of our Kanikapilas beating and to Charlotte for sharing her Hula with our dancers, bringing our music to life.

What a colorful, caring, fun loving bunch of Ukulele Pilots. We are so fortunate to have you all in life . . .

Speaking of Events check out this week’s events at https://ufohana.org/events.

  1. I’ll be traveling to the South Pacific for the rest of the year.

I just want say how much I have enjoyed playing with the UFOs over the past many years. I have learned so much from the experience.

And as I continue to learn, I hope my contributions will improve to make the music more beautiful.

Merry Christmas to SQL and all the beautiful and talented pilots.
