011618: We’re at UFOHQ this Fri and Sat . . .

Aloha All,

Thought I’d get a jump on the blog this week so here it is . . .

Hope you’re all staying healthy, or if not, on your way to getting well. I understand there’s a new strain of Flu going around (again). Keep washing those hands, maybe a mask might help? Anyway, I hope the season’s almost done.

So this Friday, we’re at UFOHQ, 7-10pm. BYKauKua (aka Potluck), BYOMusicStands (we got lots-o-chairs), RSVP text at 415-300-7804  by 5pm Friday, if you want me to save you one (be sure to tell me who you are).

Saturday, it’s rinse, soap, wash and repeat. Except we’re meeting 2-4pm. BYOB&S (Beverages and Snacks), RSVP text at 415-300-7804  by 12pm Saturday, if you want me to save you a seat (be sure to tell me who you are).

So guess who performed at Carnegie Hall this past week?

Man! That is one huge stage!

Halau and Band

Maika’i Nui Loa to Kumu Lisa Saunders and her Halau members, Lila and ?, Sandy and Maggie. Sorry, I’m not sure who the pianist is, I think Sandy mentioned he played for the Cazimero Brothers when they performed there.

Back to last week, Mahalo Nui to Brudda Joe, Tad and their Kitchen Krew for all the great food and Aloha they share with us last week. Click below for photo album . . .

Saturday we had some old friends visit us, Lydia and Paul.

A Chamber of Dreams,
Pinnacles of a lifetime,
Angels in the air.

We live in times that never cease to amaze me . . .

Aloha Pumehana,

What Geek-Cats dream of . . .

  1. Dear Del and Linda, Sorry to say I cannot make it to our Friday kanikapila this week. I hope to come on Saturday, so please save me a Saturday seat. We are saddened this week by the death of John Bowman’s only son, Greg Bowman, last Sunday, due to the late effcts of colon cancer. JB has planned a private memorial in early February. Take care and best regards to you both.
