041018: We’re at the Elks Lodge this Friday and UFOHQ Saturday . . .

BOT:

Aloha Everyone,

Second Friday of the Month coming up this week, which means we’ll be meeting at the Elks this Friday. Start time 7:30pm (a little later because we’ll be on the heels of an Elks Event), End Time 9:30pm-ish. I understand that Joe and his Kaukau Krew will be providing a local ‘kine dinner that night as well. Mahalo to Joe and the Elks for once again, being such gracious hosts. Mahalo to Reverend Chip for hosting us last Friday.

bok . . . bok . . . bok . . . pa kaaaak! Click me for Saturday kanikapila album!

This Saturday we’re gathering at the UFOHQ at our usually flight time of 2p-4p. BYOBS (beverages and snacks), BYOUkulele (yeah, it does happen sometimes) and BYAloha to share with your fellow Ukulele Pilots.

On a sad note, please send your heartfelt Aloha and healing Mana to Robin, Joe and their ‘Ohana. Frank Sembenini, Robin’s Father, passed on a couple weeks while ago. That’s Frank below with Robin at one of our Elks Kanikapila.

I’m told that Uncle Sembenini served in Hawaii during the war, fell in love with a local girl and never left until he passed on at 94 years old. Loved music and jamming with the Keiki at the Local Park. Mahalo Robin for sharing your father with us, we are so honored to have known him.

We’ll miss you Uncle Frank . . . Me Ke Aloha Pumehana, Aloha Oe.
