I’m reposting this because I forgot to mention that the Elks are asking for donations of gift cards for the Blue Star Moms Veterans Card Benefit. I hear that Target Gift Cards are especially desired. So please show your support for our Veterans and bring a card to donate.
Also if you will be join us for dinner at the Elks please RSVP at this link: RSVP@elks1108.org , $20 for adults and $10 for children. Thanks to Susan Rogin for pointing this out.
Yes, we’ll be at the Elks this Friday at our usual time of 7pm-10pm-ish. But unlike our usual Elks Night, we’re asking everyone to wear Red & White to help (pre)celebrate Valentines Day next week. Joe and his KauKauCrew will be offering a special Beef Stroganoff dinner that night (dinner usually around 6:30pmish). Mahalo to Brudda Joe and our Elks Ohana for being such gracious hosts. I want to share the photo below from Lynnette. Those are her “Bass Boyz” who now, thanks to PIKOhana, The Magic Flute, and your generous donations, each have a Bass (and Amplifier) to practice on. Mahalo Nui Loa to you all for helping bring so much joy to these children. Mahalo Lynnette for keeping the joy and discovery of music alive in our youth.
This Saturday’s Kanikapila will be held at UFOHQ, 2p-4p, BYOB&S (Beverage and Snacks), music stands and the “A” word thing (you know, Aloha). Text me at 415-300-7804 with your first and last name if you want to RSVP a seat for Saturday. If you can’t text, try Emailing your RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, keep the message to 140 characters or less.
