013118: We’re At UFOHQ this Friday and Saturday

BOT:

Aloha Ahi Ahi Kakou,

We’ve decided to give both our backs a break this week and hold Friday and Saturday Kanikapila at UFOHQ. Nohea’s recovering from an procedure on her sacroiliac and I’m just . . . recovering . . . anyway. This Friday we’ll be meeting at our usual time 7pm -10pm, BYPL (Pot Luck), BYOMS (Music Stands) and always, a little extra Aloha to go around.

Mahalo to Brudda Joe Tato, Mike, the other Elk-ders and Linda A for preparing that great dinner last Friday at the Elks. PIKOhana donated a bass guitar and two amps to Lynwood Elementary that night . . . Click here for images from that night. Mahalo to all the PIKOhana donors that made it the donation possible.

Last Saturday we were off to the Sonoma Valley Womans Club for our first Kanikapila of the year there. Mahalo nui loa the SVWC for hosting us and what a great start it was for us. Click here for photos. Mahalo to Craig and Linda for the great photos.

This Saturday’s Kanikapila will also be at the UFOHQ, 2p-4p, BYOBS(Beverage and Snacks) and you know . . . . that “A” stuff again.

Also, if you want to RSVP a seat for either days, text me with your first and last name at 415-300-7804.

Ok, so I think we’re all caught up for now. Hope to see you folks this weekend sometime!

Aloha All,

Yes, we’re at the Elks again for the second time this month! Mahalo to Tad, Joe and the other Elk-ders for hosting us once again. Usual play time of 7-9:30 pm-ish. Dinner, usually around 6:30 pm. I understand that Moroccan Stew and Herb Crusted Pork Loin is on the menu this time around for $15. Not sure if you have to RSVP but you might want to call the San Rafael Elks at (415) 453-1108 just to be sure. Click here for images from Donna’s Birthday Kanikapila last week.

Saturday we’re having our fist Sonoma Kanikapila of the year at the Sonoma Valley Womans Club House at our usual run time of 2p – 4p. Mahalo to the SVWCs for hosting us! It’ll be nice to see our Sonoma Ohana after all this time. Click here for picture album from last Saturday’s Kanikapila.

Some sad news from an Ohana member. Please send your Alohas and good Mana to John Bowman who recently lost his son to an illness. On behalf of Nohea and myself . . . me ke aloha pumehana to the Bowmans.
