“Grrrrrrrrr! I said no play Lemon Tree!!!!!!!”

Ok, maybe not Shark Sightings but more like Storm Sightings. We’re a little worried about everyone driving in the storm at night so we decided to cancel Friday Night. Plus I’ll be on storm watch that night. As you may remember we had a little flood situation with the last storm. We’ll see you guys Saturday instead at the UFO HQ, 2p – 4p. Mahalo Wali for the shark sightings. Btw, speaking of Sightings, please check out the “Aunty’s Lovely Hula Hands” trailer on this site. Wali’s working on a video documentary featuring Aunty Ku’uipo.

Mahalo nui to Gary, Pauline, Linda A, Mele Ana ‘E, Marion and Nohea for help with yesterday’s rain squall. The sandbags, pump and new trench did the trick!

  1. Aloha All,

Just got word from Joe Tato that if there are any UFOhana Pilots looking for a place to congregate that the Elks Lodge will be open for you tonight. Justin’s making Curry for Dinner and Mighty Mike will be manning The Bar. I probably won’t be there myself as we’ll be keeping flood watch at UFOHQ. But if you do go, be sure to sing Buckets of Rain for us!

Mahalo to the Elks once again for giving the UFOhana Pilots a place to land . . .

    Noho Malo’i (Stay Dry)!

  2. Hi Del, Nohea, and everyone — I’m glad to hear you are taking precautions tonight with this crazy weather, and I hope you are not too swamped. Thank you so much for the link to Wally’s beautiful trailer about Aunt Eleanor’s dancing and your (always eloquent) words about her. Hau`oli makahiki hou (hope I got that right!) and hope to see you soon.
    All best wishes, Dena
PS: FWIW — My bad, her name is Eleanor Hermosilla Holsten (a/k/a Eleanor Peterson a/k/a Ku’uipo)
